Surviving the everyday is a triumph, and for most of us it feels like it is all we can do. But God wants more for us as parents. He wants to give us joy in it, to see something wonderful.
Parenting forces us to handle so much in the moment. We conquer each day minute by minute. Days can go so slowly, but weeks fly by so fast, and we can feel like in the rush, we are missing out on the joy of parenting. God has built in joyful moments into the role of parenting that we can sometimes miss if our eyes aren’t looking in the right places.
