If we work with children or young people in a church setting, it's highly likely that some of them will have experienced trauma at some point in their lives. How do we best support them so that they can thrive in their relationship with God?

Many children and young people's lives aren't straightforward. Adverse childhood experiences, medical problems, family circumstances, trauma and more may affect how they see God.

Many of us welcome adoptive and fostering families into our churches and ministry contexts. Learning more about their specific support needs is an important and exciting journey for us to go on together, as we invest in these precious children.
